There’s a new blog in town, SPRFLS.
Created by NYC’s Russ Bengtson, SPRFLS offers thought-provoking commentary on BMX products, BMX technologies and BMX trends. According to the SPRFLS mission statement, “In a world where every new BMX “innovation” is met at best with praise and at worst with a shrug (silence implies consent), there needs to be a voice of dissent. SPRFLS (figure it out) is that voice. Make no mistake—we welcome progress, provided that it actually IS progress. You are not the width of your handlebars.”
So yeah, it’s a BMX blog, but not in a so what does this all mean type of way. It’s analytical, well-written and updated frequently. Plus, it stimulates some great dialogue amongst its readers in the comments section. Yeah, of course there’s a “You suck” every now and again, but this is the Internet. Would you expect any less?
