I need to go back in time a bit to talk about the earlier days of Todd Lyons, I.E. The Wildman. In the early '90s, Todd Lyons rode for Haro alongside Dave Mirra. I'm not sure of the details, but at the time, he was sponsored by Haro for both racing and street and/or skatepark riding. And man, did he ever live up to his nickname...
The following link details a story from Todd Lyons at an old B.S. Comp at the SCRAP Skatepark in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The Wildman rode in the expert street class and seriously scared the heck out of everyone in the building after eyeing up what seemed to be an impossible gap, from a five-foot quarter, up about 12 feet, over a railing and onto the deck of the vert ramp. He barely made it, but ultimately did. And for his efforts, he earned the respect and admiration of everyone in the building. It was an awesome spectacle to have witnessed.
So I'm pre-empting the following story which The Wildman has detailed in his journals. At the time, I don't remember what me and my friends did after the comp. We probably went riding more, while most of the pros went to the local watering hole. I'll let TL take it from there....

And as for the attached photo, it's a scavenged piece of history from the Wizard Publications dumpster, circa the bashguard days....
