  • THE VANS JOHNNY RAMONE COLLECTION

  • Vans may originally be known for their iconic but subtle entry into the skate shoe market long before anyone even really knew what a skate shoe was. But along with skate, Vans also managed to make a dent in the subculture of underground music throughout the '70s, '80s and '90s, and you could find Vans on the feet of anyone from Ian Mackaye of Minor Threat to the cover of 411's first and only album, 'This Isn't Me.'

So it's a bit of a no-brainer. Vans and music go hand in hand just as closely as Vans and skate or BMX. With that said, Vans has chosen to pay homage to a few of the more legendary Vans supporters over the years, including the Circle Jerks, the Dropkick Murphys, Motorhead, Iron Maiden and as pictured below, Johnny Ramone.

The collection includes two t-shirts, one with a classic concert shot while the other is emblazoned with The Ramone’s presidential seal, and a Johnny Ramone stone washed grey super skinny jean. To round off this capsule collection is the Classic Slip-On that showcases more of this legendary musicians imagery and signature.
