SHOOTER: JOSH BELCHER
Name: Josh Belcher
Age: 21
Location: Banbury North Oxfordshire, UK
How long have you been shooting?
Just Over two years now.
Film or digital?
I mainly shoot with digital as I started of with a digital camera, also it’s a lot easier for me to produce and edit my photographs, I like how I can see what I have taken straight away which allows me to retake a picture until I am happy with it.
Best thing you’ve ever shot?
I don’t think I could choose any one picture - I like a lot of my photos for a while but then I get bored of them, so I have to go out in search of new images.
Fave rider to shoot with?
Probably a kid called Harry Main, he is such a nuts rider to watch, he goes super high and clicked on everything, really sound guy as well.
Dream rider to shoot with?
Any rider who can put up with me saying just once more mate hahah.
What do you tell security when the try to throw you out of spots for taking pics?
I haven’t had that problem yet as I haven’t really been shooting BMX for that long, but I am sure when the time comes I will be able to talk my way around it.
Fave BMX photographer?
The first photographer that really inspired me to get into bmx photography was a guy called Craig Tull, I just loved his lighting and angles, really inspired me to go out and get pictures.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Well I am hoping to get into bmx photography for a magazine such as yourself but I don’t think I am ready for that yet, but really I am just waiting to see what the future brings.
