Bell Helmets recently sent over two models, Faction (skate-style) and Drop (full-face). For 2008, the Faction is adorned with artwork from legendary Santa Cruz area artist Jimbo Phillips. Those familiar with the skate scene of the '80s will recognize Jimbo's iconic artwork from his days at Santa Cruz Skateboards. He's also designed artwork for Fox Racing, Fat Wreck Chords and even Snickers. These days, Jimbo stays busy between working on new designs for Santa Cruz Skateboards/Surfboards and Bell Helmets. And recently, Jimbo was commissioned by Bell to design the '7 Deadly Sins' series of graphics, with each rider’s graphic depicting their own individual sin.
You might also not know that Bell boasts a pretty extensive BMX team, including Dave Mirra, Chad Kagy, Steve McCann, Ryan Nyquist, Morgan Wade, Allan Cooke, and Jamie Bestwick. Their signature color way in the Faction are pictured below, along with details on the helmet's construction.
