Fit's new Downlow Drop stem is inspired by the often-imitated but never duplicated big bar riding style of Fit's newer breed, Chase Dehart and Eddie Cleveland. The idea behind the stem was to drop the front end a bit while the handlebars get to stay high and mighty. Plus, it just looks cool. Think about it: anything in life is cooler when it becomes lower. As a reference, I'll point to 'low-riders,' 'lo-mein' and 'low top tubes.' See? I told ya so.
The DLD features a 51mm reach, a 3mm rise, a unique "flat-top" clamping system, a weight of 10.5 ounces and colors such as black, brown, burgundy and flat gold.
