When Hoffman Bikes first began in 1991, Mat and company sought out Kevin Jones, the most prolific flatlander in the world, to design their flagship flatland frame, the Big Daddy. Known as the father of modern day flatland, Jones designed the Big Daddy from the ground up, producing a no-nonsense flatland frame that hit legendary status in a matter of months. Over the years, Jones dodged the limelight, producing video parts for the Dorkin’ series and remaining highly elusive. But now he’s back, again teaming up with HB to design a new flatland frame. Enter The Strowler. This simple, flatland specific frame design is light, responsive and exactly what a rider needs to excel in the flatland game. Featuring 100% 4130 cr-mo construction, single and double-butted tubing, removable brake mounts and cable guides, Mid B/B and integrated headtube, the Strowler is available in two sizes (18.75” top tube with a 12.9” rear end, or 19.75” top tube with a 13.5” rear end.) Head tube angle is 74.5 degrees, seat tube is 70 and B/B height is 11.75”. You also get three colors to choose from, including midnight blue, bee yellow and forest green.
