I don't know if the guy from Stryper is making these or what, but Zack and the boys from Kink and gone and one-upped the crossbolt stem from way back when. This is the new Kink Relief Stem. It clamps the bars and steer tube via wedge and the four bolts on the front of the stem. And it will be available soon, in colors such as black, gun metal grey and brown. Say hello to that (soon to be exposed) steer tube on your forks...
