Segment is a newish clothing company from the North London area with an aim and interest towards all things circular, from BMX to turntabling and everything in between. It's run by a racer/trail rider named Gunner, and accordingly, he can tell the story better than I could:
"Segment Clothing was started to include and infuse various ideas and beliefs, with a goal to try and make a mark [however small] on what was felt a stale and colourless store shelf or wardrobe space. Segment is aimed towards anyone with two wheels: BMX, MTB, Moto-x, or turntables, hopefully bringing all the worlds together. Segment hopefully pushes the boundaries with a style that is generated from a love of design, music, bmx, art, and everything that surrounds you and me in everyday life. Its use of colour and simple designs give Segment an individuality that is welcomed, but is not too strong."
So far, the team consists of BMXers Scott Edgworth, Darin Read, Arrash Siadi and Rikki Gunner, along with a DJ named Loxy. Men's tees and hoodies are now available in sizes S, M and L, as well as girls tees in sizes XS, S and M. Check their MySpace for more info.
