  • S&M LTF FRAME

  • First there was the 'Heavy As Fu*k,' a circa 1994-95 S&M frame that weighed close to 8 pounds and was indestructible. Then more recently, S&M introduced its counterpart, the 'Light As Fu*k,' which was a good deal lighter but just as strong. And now comes a new addition to the S&M family of frames with names that boast cuss words and adverbs. Only now, they've added a preposition instead of an adverb, and put a hell of a lot of work into creating one of the most lightweight frames on the market. Without further adieu, this is the S&M LTF frame, or 'Lighter Than Fu*k' for everyone that wanted another cuss word in this write up.

The LTF frame is constructed of butted super therm chromoly tubing. It features an integrated head tube, Mid B/B, externally butted seattube, bullet-tipped seat and chainstays, laser-cut seatstay brace, embossed downtube gusset, laser-cut dropouts and wishbone chainstays that clear large tires. Top tube sizes available include 20.5", 20.75" and 21", with a very small run of 19" top tubes making the rounds on the Web. The chainstay length is 13.65", the head tube angle is 75 degrees, the seat tube angle is 71 degrees and the overall weight is 4.2 pounds. There's also some options you can look into, including a brakeless version of each size, and color selections of black zinc or gold zinc. And as with all S&M frames, the LTF is made in the USA.
