  • SUPERSTAR NEW DEAL FRAME

  • Med from BMX Groupment, the company behind the Superstar and St. Martin BMX brands, sent over some wild new info about the latest Superstar frame to be released. Dubbed the New Deal, it's a pegless street frame, complete with compact dropouts, Superstar's exclusive internal seat clamping device and more. The New Deal is available in a variety of sizes, including 20.7" and 21" top tubes (with a 13.4" rear end) and 21.4" top tube (with a 13.6" rear end). But that's not all, the head tube angle is 75 degrees, the seat tube angle is 70 degrees, the tubing has been thinned out in areas that aren't under stress and there's all sorts of options in the way of colors, plus the choice of either brake mounts or brakeless. Colors include black, green clear coat and cream white, but the brakeless version only comes in black. Read on for all of the tech specs explained in full detail, but a shot of Anthony Lille's Superstar New Deal completely built up with micro pegs at a serene pond setting. Oh yeah, the frame weighs in at 5 pounds. Can't forget that without getting crucified these days.....
