Here at DIG, BMX has always been much more about community than it has been about competition. Our DIG LOCALS series continues to introduce you to good riders and good people from local scenes worldwide.

"My name is Sébastien Rakoto. I am a 25 year old french rider from Reunion Island and I've rode BMX for 12 years. A came to France in 2015 for my studies, more precisely in Nantes. Last year, I've lost my job because of the COVID crisis. It wasn't the best period to travel, but I wanted to change my mindset. So I put some stuff in a bag, took my bike and jumped in the first train for an improvised solo trip to the South of France. My video "Z2C" - Zone de Confort (Comfort Zone in English), was filmed in the streets of Nantes, but also during my trip including Bordeaux, Toulouse and Marseille. It was fully shot by phone, thanks to my friends or new friends that I met during the trip. A big s/o to them for their patience and for having warmly welcomed me." - Sébastien Rakoto @sebastienrakoto
