STONED STREET ''MYSÖ''

Just under a decade in the making...

Video by Stoned Street

If you were at this year's Simple Session you would have seen the premiere of the Stoned Street ''MYSÖ'' full-length, but now it's time for the online drop. Here's the full story from Ragner Trepp:

"Long story short, this video has been filmed since 2015.

We call it "MYSÖ" - it comes from the Finnish language and is a slang word from Joona Peijari hometown Tampere and it means "full send" "hell yeah" "maximum effort" "work" and similar expressions combined in one word.

Short story now, I bought my first GoPro camera and right away I knew I wanted to make a video project. In 2016 I bought a sony camera and then ups and downs began. The learning and finding the people to do a project. This somehow evolved to Stoned Street. Members came and went off, the true ones stayed! Today I call it as a family, which is out of Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania. As years went by and I got injured several times and mates got injuries I thought the project would never get done. At some point we decided to have another child and I started to build my other company which caused me to drift away from BMX. But I came back, finished this project. Of course with the help of Jaakko and Joona. Who showed me where I belong. This is BMX! Finally, after 9 years, this project is done. Also proud of everyone who is part of the Stoned Family, they all put so much of their energy in it! It made Stoned Street stronger as a family.

Special thanks goes to the Simple Session team for being host for our video premiere last weekend and helping our name get out there! Also want to thank Skullcandy Finland for believing in us and our doings through the years and helping us cover some accommodations. SignatureBMX for keeping us rolling out here in Finland and of course DIG BMX for being a worldwide host.

Big shoutout to Jaakko Karjalainen! Thanks man, without you it could not have been done!

For me as a founder of Stoned Street it means the world! Now it's time to move on to the next project MYSÖ 2!

NB! Sorry if I didn't remember to thank someone, I owe you a beer! I hope you all enjoy this and it inspires everyone out there! Let's MYSÖ!" - Ragner Trepp
