Rixin, the new frame brand brainchild from the minds behind Merritt in New Jersey, launched last summer with a stacked group of shredders on their roster, including New York native, Youtube staple, and all-around ripper Billy Perry. They just released Billy's signature Big Apple frame, which has some forward-thinking features built into it; peep photos and specs below:
"Billy Perry's signature Big Apple frame is built around what he needed while keeping everything nice and clean looking. Constructed with Japanese double-butted and heat-treated chromoly along with an externally cnc'd seat tube, the frame easily handles abuse without being overweight, going through a year of testing with no issues. The frame also features an optimized invest cast chainstay yoke that comfortably fits 2.5" wide tires without making strength sacrifices. Rounding everything off is a quick-release seat clamp that allows cross-town trips from spot to spot to be more comfortable."
