SPARKYS BRANDS RETURN TO INDEPENDENT BONNER FAMILY LEADERSHIP

Sparkys Brands are proud to announce their return to full independent ownership and operation under the Bonner family, ushering in a new chapter while staying true to the values that have defined the company for decades.

Founded by the late Ron Bonner, Sparkys was built on a simple idea: support BMX, independent bike shops, and the riders who keep the culture moving forward. Today, that vision continues under the same long term employee leadership of Austin Bonner, Courtney Bonner, Greg Lanthorne, Arnaud Mauler, Erik Engstrom, and Jamie Thayer. As part of this transition, Sparkys Brands are once again operating as a fully independent company, focused entirely on serving its dealers, riders, and brand partners with the passion and authenticity that have always been part of its foundation.

The company will continue to represent the brands that have become staples of BMX worldwide: The Shadow Conspiracy, Subrosa Brand, Rant, and Shadow Riding Gear. With Sparkys once again operating independently, the goal is simple: rebuild, reconnect, and earn the continuous support of riders and dealers around the world.

BMX has always been built by the people who support it. As Sparkys begins its next chapter, we are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the riders, shops, distributors, and friends who have been part of our story. We know there is work ahead, and we're excited to get back to doing what we've always loved, supporting BMX.

Sparkys mission remains unchanged: create innovative products, support independent BMX, strengthen local bike shops, and invest in the community that has supported Sparkys since day one.
