Sam Waller, the man behind World Force Artifacts, and zines such as Red Steps, Auto Focus, and Roman Candle (and who was featured in DIG #2021's 'Print Matters' article), recently released The Whistling in the Dark, a 22 minute video shot on entirely on Super 8 film. I thoroughly enjoyed this, between the filming, music selection, his photos interlaced with the video, and editing, Sam offers an interesting and unique presentation of BMX that you typically do not see. 

This was filmed from 2014 to 2022 around the UK and various European destinations, and features riding from Gaz Hunt, Addy Snowdon, Clarky, Wozzy, Sandy, Jambul, Sam himself, Marv, Leo McKenna, Tommy Gore, Jim Newrick, Tim Evans, Feebz, Loz Taylor, Fathead, Minney, Tommy C, Shanky, Cookie and Dan Cox. 

While you can watch the video on Youtube, it's also available on DVD over on The Central Library (along with some of his more recent zines). Well worth the £10 if you ask me, and probably helps Sam recoup the cost of processing all that film!
