Andreas Taru 'REDEMPTION' - DIG LOCALS
"It's been a full-on battle"
14 Dec 2023
Estonia's Andreas Taru has been battling a wrecked knee over the past few years but that didn't stop him from finishing this aptly titled video, 'Redemption'. Here's the full story...
"I finished my video around Sept. It's been a full-on battle, I had a bad injury with my knee in 2022 I had to cut the filming process short in June. Started filming again in the summer of 2023 but my knee wasn't healed correctly so I got surgery on it like a month ago. Had multiple battles but definitely proud of it and I loved every minute of it. Little story about the last clip, so that rail has been untouched by the bmx riders here in Estonia since it was built so I think early 2000's then. I stumbled across it randomly in 2022 and ever since I have dreamed about it. This stadium has a lot of training sessions happening all the time like football, running, etc. The only time we could get a chance to go there was a Sunday. Took me 3 trips, 1 kick out, broken toe and lot's of bruises but we got it done. Damn I love BMX." - Andreas Taru
