For the first time in 7 years BMX Dirt is returning to FISE World Series. The event will take place on the nights of the 29th and 30th May at a specially selected site away from the main event site.
Here's what course designer, and one time DIG cover star, Alex Dropsy had this to say about the course:
"Every year we get hundreds of requests and comments asking us when BMX Dirt will be back. This year I was stoked to be able to deliver something that the BMX Fans wanted. When I designed the course with Fish and Chran from Grabels trails we were thinking about having a perfect mix of trick jumps with a great taste of trail. Hurricane Tracks team who built the course is composed of experts from Peynier and Grabels trails, the two most famous trails in the South of France that have been going for more than 20 years now.
The spot is perfect to make a dirt comp, there is a gentle slope all the way .The 7M high start will give riders the perfect speed to enjoy the line. With 5 trickable jumps, speed jumps , and hips we really hope to have a great contest, with a mix of young guns , dirt jump experts and trails legends." - Alex Dropsy
"As well as the competitions there will also be DJs providing live music and as is usual at a FISE Montpellier night time event there’s sure to be a superb atmosphere and a big crowd." - FISE
