How did the Motosierra signature frame come about and can you tell us about how a portion of the royalties are being distributed to trails?

Trails for me have always been the best thing to ride a bike on and where I had the best feeling on my bike even if I don’t ride trails mainly I love to ride it more than any other thing, I have owned a spot for many years and I know that every spot is a piece of art from a group of friends that have created something unique and this was something we came with to help some spots as the royalties of the frame will go to support some trails.

Pretty much every spot that I know has not much support and if so only permission to dig there by the city and we thought that would be cool to help a little.

Why is Lloret Trails the first recipient?

Lloret has always been one of my favorite places to ride in the country, is one of those places that can change around a bad day if you have one and they have always welcomed me with open arms and giving a bit back to help them felt like the right thing.

Any idea of which trails are next for future production runs?

It hasn’t been decided yet and we are open to suggestions but Urkatu trails in France have always been an other spot where I felt they way I feel when Income to Lloret.

How is this frame different than previous versions of your frame?

This one comes in three sizes that are trails riding orientated as has a longer front end, slacker head tube angle and a longer rear end with 10mm dropouts that we think will work great on big jumps.

What are the colorways available?

It comes on the red that I’m also running and in black that is a color you can never go wrong with.

I’ve heard the trails scene around Spain has been thriving in recent years; what’s your thoughts?

It’s been great to see that the passion for trail building is growing and we have some amazing places and slowly more and more are popping up. To build trails you need to be a really dedicated and passionate person about the sport and I have a lot of respect for that.
