One thing I know for sure is that AK loves a new set up, it's maybe something akin to the cathartic method of shaving your head, that or he just gets bored with colours and needs to change things up. I vote for cathartic head shaving anyway.

Hey Alex, how would you describe your bike set up?

Nifty, nimble and minimalist.

Nice, what part do you rely on the most?

Grips! Pedals, and the frame! But I think the whole horse should be healthy.

I love a healthy horse, okay so what part do you go through the fastest?

It's gotta be grips, pedals and tires.

Does having a brand new set up effect the motivation to ride? or even just give you some extra buzz?

Yes completely... similar to a new baby! Having a new bike takes me through a period of transformation where everything becomes fresh and exciting again!
