It was hard to time this one, but it turned out so good! James Chalmers, Alex Donnachie, Craig Sime, Sean Munro, Kerr Bilsland, Jason Phelan, David Yau, Greg Layden, all hopping the starting ramp at Rutherglen BMX track.
On my first day in Amsterdam Paley, DBG, Alex and I took to the streets with a really helpful local called Jessie Dink. He was only 15 but had a great knowledge of the spots, first of which was this dope double rail. Obviously Alex done pegs to pegs to hard 3 up this and then put it in his leftovers. Classic.

Dan Paley barely had a section before our short trip to Amsterdam. In under a week he solved that by giving it 110% at every spot we put in front of him. Feeble hardway, down this really cool 15 stair rail.
I tried to warn them that this wasn't the best bench to sit on, but of course skinning up and eating baguettes had to come first. I feel like Cammy's expression, two fingers up with no clue what's going on kinda sums up his outlook on life.Luckily no-one was badly hurt and Jamieson got his clip after we all recovered from 20 mins of straight laughter.

I couldn't believe it when Jason said he was dropping in off this roof at Bellahouston Academy. He actually caught the window as transition when he done this! Incredible.
I took this photo of Jason Phelan at around 6am one morning after himself, Joe Bailey, Issac Lesser and I had decided we were all walking distance from the beach. We shared a beautiful sunrise and a few cervezas together - we even had a wee dip in the sea.

Alongside Alex, Jordan Gosling is the only rider who has a section in both Nearly and Nearly 4. The classic tyre grab had been faded out over the years, but he's still a true OG.
I did this aluminium wall ice with a steel peg before I knew that you weren't really meant to do that. Luckily it worked and Greg Layden got this picture of it. RIP that hat, I lost it a few days later.
Sean Lafferty has been cracking on with his acting career in recent years, but he found time to get out and play the familiar role of ultimate bossman for Alex's new blockbuster. Sean has arguably the best/funniest slams in BMX but he got away with this front pedal feeble to oppo 180 in one piece.
This bar air at Jordanhill Campus is no joke. The run in is uphill and the banks are fairly steep. No problem for Scotland's no.1 slinger!
Some people call this a vertical smith. Personally I call it a waterbadger and I encourage you all to join me! This is one of the fiercest waterbadgers I have ever encountered, with a gap in and out of a rough brick texture. James Chalmers wrestled him into submission and hung his taxidermied head on his wall.
This security guard was so friendly I just had to get a mugshot and put it on Instagram. The kind of cute little face only a mother could love.
Alex with a snappy tooth 180 at Bellahouston Academy, which sits just to the south of Glasgow’s city centre. We went there twice towards the end of the project and Alex, Jason, Jonny, Jamesy and I all filmed clips there despite regular run-ins with the headmaster. Thanks for the sessions Mr.Anderson!
Here we are unpacking on the first day of Nearly Shore, at what we thought was the house we were staying at. As it turned out, Jamieson's mum was going away and taking his keys with her because he couldn't be trusted. Apparently the last time she left him alone he had a Äúgeordie AKA an orgy, with his school friends, fuelled by cider and cheap cigarettes. I suppose sometimes in life you get bumped. We improvised by buying the cheapest tents in the local supermarket, getting some value toilet paper for pillows, and sleeping at a set of trails.
Greg Layden, Jonny Moffat and myself scoped this ledge one night whilst driving around Rutherglen. We took the full squad back one day and managed to tick off another district of Glasgow. Here's Craig Sime throwing a pretty hefty barspin.

This set-up is crazy. It's a rough n loose BMX track with this sketchy barrier at the start point. Jason warmed up with a few gap pegs and proceeded to bust out this ice and a hanger.
This rail has seen a bar ice in the past, but Jonny gave her another in homage to Jersey T.
Kriss can flair anything, including this tiny cobbled quarter in Paisley. I was extra stoked to shoot this since I've never taken a photo of someone upside down before!

In summer 2014 myself, Alex and James Chalmers all took a trip to Newcastle to visit Jamieson and ride. Jamieson had been eyeing up this rail in the local school for a bit. When Alex arrived with the VX he seized the opportunity and landed his first ever street hanger.
Moving on we have Jamieson's second ever street hanger! As you see this beta version has improved greatly, with an extra 12 inches of grind.
Pegs to dodge the pole to Rodeo Peanut. This was filmed in early 2014 when landing on grass was still allowed.
Jamieson made us cycle 5 miles to reach this set of consecutive manual pads. By this point we hadn't ridden anything so James Chalmers clocked a few lines in while I hid in the bushes to pee and get some photos.

At the weekend these blue frames are used as market stalls, I managed to do this access hop during some weekday downtime.
James Chalmers went through a lot for Nearly 4. Here he is smiling through his beard, long before he broke his leg and the referendum was a no vote.

This switch crook is no joke. 19 stairs with flats every 2 steps, an alloy rail, and a run out into a canal if you don't turn afterwards. Paley is such a boss!

Jamesy, hardway gap to the road. These kids look pretty bored, I think they were just disappointed Jamesy hadn't injured himself or done a backflip yet.
Nose to bar, Jonny Moffat threw this just as the last little bit of light was leaving, and I managed to get a somewhat decent photo.
Alex and the boys throw gang signs while Guy Scroggie hops onto a railride oppo 180 for my disposable camera. Guy is 13 here, when I was 13 I couldn't even bunnyhop.
Craig Sime, nose manual to manual to suicide at the spot we nickname “ Paisley MACBA. It earned the name for its resemblance to the famous Barcelona spot and, of course, for Paisley town centre's reputation for international contemporary art.
