That's definitely one of my favorite pictures from this weekend. It captures everything that makes the Butcher Jam special: perfect ramps, a large crowd of spectators, and BMX riders like Alessandro who love showcasing their skills on the BMX.

One of the highlights on Saturday at the Butcher Jam was the Highest Air Contest. In the end, Kaden Stone and local rider Sebastian battled it out for the first place. Somehow, the judges couldn't agree who had jumped the highest, so Kaden and Sebastian decided to settle the winner through a game of rock, paper, scissors. By the way, the winner was rewarded with a tandem skydiving jump the next morning.

The grand finale of Saturday evening is always the Dirt Contest at the Butcher Jam. Anyone can participate in this contest, and it follows a jam format. Essentially, the Dirt Contest is a big party where riders showcase their best tricks, and the spectators cheer as loudly as they can.

Max Martin, the son of one of my best buddies from the old dirt jump days. Nowadays, us old guys not ride BMX anymore, but now it's all about the next generation. Max Martin secured the second place in the amateur category, and I'm sure Papa Martin is incredibly proud.
