Trey Jones always brings originality and original style to any course, here is a nice example of speed and control while Trey links together a line during qualifiers.

Sergio Layos is the man with the most style throughout the entire contest series! Here he is exercising a picture perfect tuck no hander!

Kris Fox hands down is the fastest rider on this course I've seen in my two years of covering the contest! Even with that speed he isn't afraid to pull out some tricks at full speed!

Boyd Hilder hit the top of the photo with this stretched cancan maneuver into the bank from the quarter.

Nina Buitrago grips just as she begins to drop into her final run in the Women's final. The Women's BMX this year was a direct example of the progression in the sport, all the girls killed it!

Well for the second year in a row, Larry Edgar takes home the High Air contest, topped out between 13 and 14 feet. Not only was he almost 14 feet above coping the quarter pipe is 12 feet tall so that's over 25 feet all the way to flat! Not to mention this invert only ended with a tuck no hander on the way back in for the win!

The main man himself, Van Doren presents Dennis Enarson, Larry Edgar and Kevin Peraza with their signature guitar trophies! Here Larry is presented with his guitar by Van Doren as he wins the overall point standings and is crowned the Vans BMX Pro Cup Series Champion!

The Vans BMX Pro Cup Finale in Huntington Beach, California was the fourth and final leg of the Vans BMX Pro Cup Series World Championship! Along with three other stops taking place around the world, throughout 2017, in Sydney, Australia, Malaga, Spain (at Ruben Alcantara's skatepark) and in Guadalajara, Mexico, this contest brought to the table the world's best transition and bowl riders to compete for the title of World Champion. Taking place in Huntington Beach during the Vans US Open of Surfing only adds to the excitement and prestige of this contest. The crowd was ready to witness BMX madness and all the riders definitely delivered full power riding and timeless style all weekend.
