"Dirt" Best Trick counts on any set even if you don't make it through the line (much to any trails purists' utter dismay), and people were sending some pretty outrageous combos all over the place. Kind of echos the early/mid-90s fuck-it, huck-it, and-see-what-happens era, for better or worse.
