My back was in a ton of pain from throwing it out right before this trip, but luckily I managed to find a few things that didn't bother it too much in BCN. This bar euro gap was actually really fun and easy on my back. The only thing that had me nervous was a pretty tight thread the needle at the bottom that had me sweatin' the spot. You can see the clip in my Haro edit....

I've always wanted to ride this spot since Fit's Barcelona Vacation DVD. It was unreal rolling up to it and seeing it in real life after seeing it in videos for so long. After all the clips I have seen of it though, I never knew there was a gap in-between the sheet metal and the transition. I thought it was more of a vert wall rather then a wall ride. Regardless it was such a fun session and I did a table on it even though a million other people have done this trick here. Still stoked to have a souvenir showing I actually made it to this legendary spot.

Me and Christian found an apartment right next to Las Ramblas for our stay in BCN. This street is so beautiful and entertaining. I think throughout our time in Barcelona we had to have gone up and down this street over 20 times hitting the local markets and grabbing dinners after the long days in the city. The scene on this street is something you have to see in person. One of the sweetest streets I have ever been too for sure!

One handed tables are one of my favorite tricks. I was throwing them over the hip at Rubens park and Vince insisted we shot one. I'm stoked we did because Vince made it look a lot better then they actually was in real life haha. Thanks Vince you are a badass with those angles!

The huge dirt quarter on the windiest day of the trip! We had such a good session with so many laughs as Christian blasted way out of his comfort zone the whole time haha. This opposite no handed air was a pretty amazing feeling. A couple airs after this I got caught in the wind and almost died. It scared the crap out of me so I called it early on this session. I really want to make it back to this thing when the wind isn't roaring through the valley.

These trails were so good. They weren't too far from Malaga and the locals were way too nice! The session was sick! Minus Christian crashing his drone into a tree. Oh well though he got it all fixed up for pretty cheap as soon as we got home. Vince snapped this three turndown right before I got into filming a line.

This 3 can was the beginning to the line in my Haro edit. I was supper stoked to get this clip since I've been looking to do 3 lookbacks both ways in a line for a while now. This was the perfect six pack to get it done.

No handed one footer on the same jump. Vince got all artsy with the white and black, and I like it.

We hit up the old bullfighting ring on the drive home from the trails. I couldn't really think of anything to do here since Ruben already did everything at the spot over the last 15 years of his career. Ruben called me out to roll into this thing and it was so much fun. Really steep and scary in real life, but once I just went for it, it was way smoother then I thought. I was really happy with the photo and clip from this timeless spot.

I'm going to have to say Rubens bowl is now my favorite cement park I have been to. There's way too many good things about it that I could go on forever. The lines are ridiculous, and the line that lead me into this table was just as fun as the table itself.

I actually don't even remember when or where this photo was taken on the trip, but drinking coffee with Ruben in his home town was completely surreal. I have looked up to this guy since I first got into riding, and getting to spend a week with him was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Getting to really know him made me an even bigger fan of the man. He's really doing it all right, positive attitude all day, an amazing outlook on life, healthily lifestyle, too many friends too keep track of, an amazing house overlooking Malaga, and making sure the local BMX scene is thriving. I want to be Ruben when I grow up! Oh and it looks like were holding hands, but were not, I swear!

This gem of a setup is found right down the street from the bowl. I waited on it till the last day of the trip just to make sure my back was ready to take a big drop to flat. It was a huge confidence booster going into the trip barely being able to bunny hop, and by the end of it feeling good enough to take a nice drop to flat. Stretching and eating healthy paid off on this one.

Needless to say, Dennis produced in his signature full-throttle style!
