Sölden, Austria is about to host a pretty sick concept event next week:

"From June 15–20, Swatch Nines Bike will roll into Bike Republic Sölden in Austria for a crossover session of unprecedented proportions. For the first time, the convention-breaking mountain bike event will welcome BMX as a main sport, complete with a jaw-dropping venue that caters to both sports. With free public viewing sessions on June 18 & 20 including the legendary Night Show, as well as a new shuttle bus service, it’s easier than ever to watch live as BMX and MTB meet at the Nines. Nines has made its name on memorable venues, and the setup envisioned in Sölden might be the most ambitious yet. Mostly minor changes have been made to the existing MTB Freeride and Slopestyle lines, with adaptations to the Slopestyle line so that it’s also rideable top to bottom for the BMX contingent. The iconic satellite feature seen at earlier Nines will also make a comeback. The fun begins in earnest near the bottom of the course, where a full skate plaza—the biggest Nines skate build yet—overlaps with the MTB lines. Simply put, this setup opens up new possibilities across dirt, wood, wheels and imagination."
