Back in 2019, Dan Price and Metal Pegs released Omote and Ura, a twenty minute video featuring creative street riding predominantly filmed around England. Later that year, we uploaded a remix of Omote and Ura to our Youtube (still available here), but unless you got your hands on the actual DVD, you never saw the video in its full and original form. Thankfully, Dan has managed to upload the DVD version to Vimeo, featuring the riding of Dan Harley, Amos Burke, Archie Kenward, Chase Quantrill, Jeff Z, Addy Snowdon, Fathead, Gaz Docker, Clarky, Sandy, our own Rob Dolecki, among others. Music selection in the video was on point, and compliments the riding handsomely, and even uses my favourite song from The Cure. 

As Dan explains:

"Original version of Omote and Ura (The seen and the hidden) A version of this was put out on youtube by DIGBMX.

Street spots are mostly hidden, apart from the obvious ones like handrails, ledges and banks etc. Street Mystics work on utilising the hidden. This doesn't mean big flashy tricks, but using one's imagination and skill to ride the unrideable, no matter how small the 'spot' is. This is the Way of the UK street rider going all the way back to Junkyard Jim kickturning on some corrugated metal sheeting, before street riding was street riding.

This video isn't the best quality as I lost all the files for the film and had to convert a dvd into MP4, so it's a bit rough, but you'll get the vibe."
