You've probably heard the news by now - Joe Jarvis is on Eclat! Unfortunately Joe is out of action right now but in the meantime we thought we'd catch up with him to find out more about his latest bike build. High, long and wide is how he describes his setup - perfect for a massive specimen like himself who's looking to three enormous drops. If it can handle Joe's riding, you know it's a good piece of kit.

Favourite éclat product so far?
I’m really into the rear hub, I’ve always ridden cassette and love how loud it rips.
What’s with the Chicago bars? Have you always ridden like that?
I’m 6”3 and can’t afford to hit my knees of the bars any more times haha. And yeah for a solid 8-9 years I think.
Which part of your bike is most important to you?
Probably the stem/bars/forks I put a lot of trust into those for what I do.
How would you describe your personal bike setup?
My bike is like a boat dude - high, long and wide.
What parts do you ride the longest?
Maybe the tyres/grips. I kinda like to keep them bald as possible.
Are there any special modifications or things you do when building up a new setup?
Nothing special or different, sometimes my cranks are out of line or stem is crooked because I can’t build bikes properly haha!
What parts do wear through the quickest?
I go through pedals pretty frequently and like to change the stem/forks after a few big things
What can we expect to see from your new hookup with éclat?
Expect the same as always I guess but definitely more. Really exited to join some of my good homies on Éclat. Riding with O'kane and Bruno definitely helps push yourself when filming
Plans for 2023?
More trips, more video parts I’d like to try and film and definitely less work. I’m trying to do the most this year coming up.
