"Founded in 2000, Fitbikeco. celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2020, and to mark the milestone we’ve incorporated some of our most iconic colorways and graphics in our 2020 Complete line.
Original team riders Mike Aitken, Brian Foster and Van Homan played pivotal roles in revitalizing BMX’s image, not only with their riding, but with their simple, functional and stylish-looking bikes. You’ll find some familiar favorites in our six, competitively-priced SERIES ONE bikes, available in three top tube lengths with corresponding crank lengths to cover just about anyone looking for a 20” bike.
Current team riders have Signature Series bikes in our 2020 line; available this year in both right AND left-hand drive. All four feature STREET geometry, 25mm offset forks and our brand-new F/U tires.
Our TRL bikes pay homage to trail-blazing Northwestern FIT rider Justin Inman, while our STR line, with its 4-piece bars and New Era-styled graphics, harks back to long-time team rider and street-riding legend Edwin Delarosa. To round out our middle price-point 20-inch bikes, we’ve got the PRK and PRK XL with PARK specific geometry, spec and gyros.
For the bigger dudes out there, or those looking to cover some miles before or after they shred, our SERIES 22 has a Long Johnson seat-post and quick-release seat clamp. Like our Signature Series completes, the 22 has Thread-on brakes and a hinged lever for easy install and removal. Also back by popular demand is a 26” complete. You may recall that last big wheeler we made, the MOTO MIKE, had a certain vintage BMX feel; this year’s FIT TRIPPER is a nod to the classic 80’s era of roots BMX.
For the future FIT team riders out there, we’re offering our most refined MISFIT 12” and 16” bikes to date, with flatter seat angles, more kid-friendly grips and brakes, flush axles and incredibly affordable pricing. In addition to offering them in legendary FIT colorways, we’re added a FREECOASTER model to our EIGHTEEN offering for the first time.
