Larry Edgar is your 2018 Vans BMX Pro Cup world Championship winner! Larry had broken ribs during the Huntington Beach contest in August and still managed to make his way to the points leader for 2018!

Pitu! Pitu! Pitu! That was all you could hear when local rider Pitu hit the course! Definitely a crowd favorite, he showed us all what it means to be number one regional Qualifier of the weekend!

Dennis Enarson takes Best Trick this year with a mighty double tail whip transfer into the vert wall extension! Straight up madness!

Dennis Enarson walks away with 2nd place for this years Malaga contest! Dennis rode this transfer like it was nothing, hitting it nearly every run! This can-can transfer couldn't have been any smoother!

The locals from Malaga set up their own stands outside the parks gates with lawn chairs, blankets and coolers full of refreshments! Going crazy all day on Sunday!

Chris James is ridiculous! I don't think he's scared of any height I've seen him travel... Huge Indian-air seat grab during finals!

Chris James was one of the craziest high flyers out there! Wowing everyone with every run, this no handed flip was one of the more chill maneuvers he had in store for us!

Matt Cordova is one of my favorites! Pure BMX plain and simple. Speed, height and tricks for days! Busted knee and all, Matt has battled his was through a wild month abroad and I don't know a tougher dude!?

Jayden Mucha is only 16 years old and this kid means business. This flip whip wasn't the only thing he blasted that surprised most!

They don't make many BMXer's like this anymore, the Brazilian madman cleared the biggest gap I witnessed all weekend... But here in finals he came up a little short and his front wheel found the hole!

Rim Nakamura is such an amazing young talent out of Japan! 16 years young and full speed he blast tricks higher than most and during one run he had his bars move three times, not slowing him down at all!

Skate Snacks was the official food and refreshment bar for the whole weekend of events for us here at The Vans BMX Pro Cup in Malaga! Located on the grounds of the Ruben Skatepark, we were treated with great food, beer, cafe con leche and music well into the wee hours of the night!
