Dave King perfected his jump building skills from years spent manning a shovel in the woods of Bethlehem and Catasauqua, PA helping shape place like Nam, Catty Woods and Posh. He is also known to put in some serious work on the bike too. Switch table over ‘set backs’ in 2009.

Garrett Byrnes lives in the bordering state of New Jersey, so he has been no stranger to Posh for a long time. 2012 lookback on ‘chillers’ on one of his many visits.

Before the company Cult ever existed, Robbie Morales was a beast of a trail rider. In fact for those of you who don’t know, his nickname back then was even the ‘trail boss’. I shot this one summer day visit with him in 2000.

This is an overview of Posh in the fall of 2008 during one of the last sessions that year.

Since Fosters’ move to the East coast in 2006 he’s made it a point to get down to those woods every chance he can; some may even still call him a local. Here he dips a 360 over the last set of ‘f-its’. Quite fitting if you ask me.

Some say autumn is the best time of year for trail riding up in the North East, and i would have to fully agree with them… and i’m sure BF would too. Foster enjoying one fine Autumn day over ‘setbacks’ in 2011.

There was a time when Chase Hawk would spend his summers in Bethlehem and really take in all that was there. In 2008 he made a trip back, to what was his second home, filming for Anthem 2. This is Chase on the famous ‘Ft. Wayne’ section.

Chris Palidino was a frequent visitor to Posh during these days even though he lived in Queens, NY. Here’s the little man hitting one the biggest lines known as ‘250’s’ in the Autumn of 2003.

In the late 90’s and early 00’s Chris Stauffer was the epitome of style. He was the one that kids’ strived to ride like and his peers always appreciated. Here is just one fine example of what i mean… Chris hitting ‘guy stylie’ in 2002.

This pic of Magiila on the last set of ‘k12’ is one my favorite shots I ever got down in those woods. I haven’t had that same feeling about a trails photo very often since 2002.

It always amazes me looking back on old photos and seeing how bad trail maintenance was. This landing condition would not cut it in todays game. That’s the way it was though and Gilly didn’t seem to mind back in 2000. Oppo table.

Jason Lonergan, or better known as J Bone has been the glue keeping this place together for the past 20 years. Here he carves a berm in 2001 going through his favorite section called ‘qually’.

It’s a mystery as to how long these old tools have been buried.

I’m sure that there are many out there that still don’t know that DIG’s media mastermind Rob Dolecki was, and still is one amazing trail rider. I’ve seen Rob do some lines and transfers that most would never even notice. Here he noses in on a set in ‘middles’.

Since Posh has been ‘legalized’ there are some actual rules you now have to go by. Always respect the trails.

Last year was the 20th anniversary of the legendary trails known as Posh. These trails are nestled in a small valley hill side behind a residential neighborhood in Bethlehem, PA. It is an amazing feat for a set of trails to survive even 10 years, but 20 years is just unheard of. And through out those 20 years I’ve always found myself making it back into those woods to try and live up another day of summer. And only living about a 3 hour drive away made it quite easy for many of these days to happen. I feel lucky, almost even spoiled being this close to such an iconic set of woods and I find myself at times taking it for granted. The reason being is through these past 20 years thousands of people have traveled across land and sea to just put rubber to soil on this masterpiece of artwork for only a few days, and i’ve been riding this place for most of my life. But at the same time i do feel honored that i’ve been welcomed into this scene with open arms and witness the ever changing evolution of what is Posh. I’ve had countless amount of great times back in those woods with some great friends and i can’t thank them enough for it. These are a few of the many photos I’ve shot back there in those woods and are dedicated to all the locals from past to present that have kept this place going. Here's hoping that I can be writing another one of these 20 years from now...
