Snapshots - FIT GLASGOW

Glasgow has been ridden pretty extensively recently, so Benny L took to using one of the city's many piles of rubbish as a spot for this wallride to 180.

Olly slings his bars while the rest get the taxi in order. I must admit, I am quite jealous of this whip!

This was the first time I’d seen anyone do this trick on a setup with the rails directly above each other. Opposite 40/60, keeping the back foot up and out the way! Benny even caught a little of the bank, original and street as can be.

Nico, Peter and Benny check the clip. If I remember correctly Benny was trying to ride a broken iPad at the time and was trying to establish what was going wrong. Who knows why!

Olly Rendle, slinging a fakie bar off this classic loading bay spot. While we were filming this someone was trying to kick us out via the intercom you can see in the top left of the photo. Effective technique!

This is probably my favourite photo from the trip. Josh Roberts maintains eye contact with our good friend in the security department while popping a precisely timed pegs to over.

Just look at that spot! Luckily for the viewer Peter’s high end camera doesn’t quite yet come with a smell function.

He may look like a menacing satan worshipper here, but really he’s just a nice regular bloke with a fake taxi.

We can say with some certainty that this spot has been tobogganed in the past, however it has never been as clicked or as utterly drenched in steeze as in this moment! “Je ne sais quo!”

“Nice tattoo Olly, What sprocket is it?” “Oh I just typed sprocket into google images and chose the first one that came up.”

This cool wallride opportunity has taken my eye in the past, it was nice to see Nico get amongst it!

Simple pleasures like a nice bunnyhop air are often the best! Nico Badet.

For every second you watch of a video there must be at least 3 hours of this stuff, fixing bikes, smoking and waiting under bridges to escape the rain. Josh Roberts.

Usually when senior citizens look out the window they’re checking if we’re vandalising someone else property. This lady was more concerned with Nico’s little european booty!

Ben Lewis had been desperate to spend some more time in DIG's euro HQ city, Glasgow in Scotland, for some time now after seeing endless flatrails and industrial splattered architectural gems. UK teammates Josh Roberts, Olly Rendle (a temporary Glasgow resident) and French Connexion Nico Badet, jumped in #thefullcab and joined Ben for five days exploring the city and leaving their mark (literally) all over the place.

We had local rider, photographer, zine maker and all round arty bundle Cain Martin jump in with the crew for a few days and grab some snapshots of the crew via his Glasgow School of Art influenced eyeballs. Enjoy, and be sure to catch the FIT GLASGOW video HERE too.
