Far West feelings.

The Dodge was built for roads like these in the Atuel Canyon.

We saw Nihuil's dam from the road and instantly wanted to ride transitions.

We got inside the dam facilty right on time before the sun sets.

Mariano, fastplant the dam's transition. Nihuil town.

Rio Grande. Hard to stay there for more than 10 minutes because of annoying flies.

Dry as a bone area in between lakes and rivers in the Atuel Canyon.

Hot temperatures got the Dodge boiling with rage.

Our first time inside a mountain tunnel. a break from the hot desert sun.

The river by the tent made for a pleasant ambient sound.

I couldn't leave without having a picture riding here, so I set Mariano to shoot this simple air out of the narrow runway.

"This was the fourth time around Patagonia in Roma's 1975 Dodge Coronado and we've had the thirst for the lakes since day one. Of course not everything on bike trips is bike riding; I think we had the most fun just swimming in the cold mountain lakes and doing rally-like car rides through canyon roads. Personally, being away for two weeks from the daily routine and completly forgetting what day it was, at a times was enjoyable as the landscapes and events you see in these pictures.
