Nigel Sylvester is easily one of the most divisive riders in bmx; there is rarely a middle ground and people either love or hate what he's about. In Part 1 of Vice Sports feature with Nigel he talks about his beginnings in BMX, how he got into riding in the first place, and what it meant to him for Dave Mirra to turn him pro. Nigel also delves into some more personal issues, including the pressure to succeed when he made the decision to drop out of college in pursuit of a career in BMX, and effect his mother's battle with cancer had on him.
