What was an underground victorian Turkish baths on the seafront in Hastings, UK (birthplace of the legendary Backyard Jams) has been stripped out and the guys from Source BMX have nearly finished transforming the place into a skatepark like no other. You don't have to wait long as the opening weekend is in only 5 days time (13th February 2016)! We'll be there along with Dan Lacey, Ben Lewis, Alex Donnachie and more. The park is available to book in advance online here. Booking in advance is not compulsory but it will guarantee you a spot in one of the Source parks. The Park has two separate skateparks, the main park and the Plaza as well as housing the largest bmx/skateshop in Europe. Each session is specific to the separate parks and not for both at the same time. You can also just turn up on the day! (Spaces for the opening weekend will be limited so we suggest you use the booking tool to reserve your spot (or use it to see if that session is full). Please note that due to nature the opening weekend the sessions will be for BMX and Skateboards only. From Monday the 15th the regular schedule will be in place.)
Source Park Opening Times: Monday to Sunday 10am to 10pm

THE PLAZA features smaller ramps and a more street orientated design than the main park. Although catering for all ages and abilities the Plaza has a small mini ramp and a foam pit which makes it more suitable for the beginner or intermediate. There is no viewing at the Plaza for spectators.
THE MAIN SKATEPARK is the biggest of the two parks and consists of mixture of super fun bowls, transfers, wall rides as well as ledges and rails. The whole park works as a whole or as smaller sections when its busy. Made using state of the CNC’d ramps which allows any transition or curve to be made. This Venue also houses the cafe, arcade area and 360 degree balcony for viewing.
Sessions:
All sessions at the Source park last for 2 hours and are specific to each park, I.e a mixed session could be for either the Plaza or the Main park but not both at the same time. However sessions are structured so that each session usually follows on in the other Skatepark - So for example a Skateboard session could run from 6pm-8pm in the Main Park and then a second skate only session will run from 8pm-10pm in the Plaza.
As well as mixed sessions the Source Park also runs a mixture of special sessions like BMX only or Girls only. Below is a run down of our available sessions. To check the session times and schedule, or to pre-book please see the booking section further down this page.
