“In mid September I flew up to Seoul, South Korea, to visit Lee and the Serotonin boys for a five day marathon of good sessions, eats, beverages, and yapping. After they had visited Taiwan, a visit to Seoul was due. We were all working on projects for the Motobunka Film Festival, but with the deadline close we really count film much more for those projects. So with the motivated crew, amazing spots on deck, and the stoke high we managed to film more than we expected. Everyone was stoked to get in front or behind a camera to document the time. Initially I was hoping for this to be part of a larger project but the trip ended up standing alone. The city, the people, the vibes, and the whole trip overall was peak BMX for me. Especially being able to further connect the Taiwan and South Korean scenes as we continue to try and shine a light on the Asian BMX scene overall.” - Robin Slootmaker
