Sunday 2020 Frames

Words by Kerr Blisland | Sunday Bikes is an Official DIG Partner.

Sunday have a history of making some of the toughest frames in BMX and I bet you there's still plenty of their first and second wave frames kicking about out there somewhere. With an absolutely stacked team ranging across every discipline of 'freestyle' there's something for everyone in their frame lineup. Their frames are particularly interesting to me because there's continually so much tech and ingenuity that goes into them. They've recently dropped some new colourways of their current line-up so we figured we'd show you what's put into these bad boys...

Discovery Frame

The Discovery is designed to be as simple as possible while still retaining Sundays reputation for strength. This is the cheapest frame Sunday offer but don't mistake that for missing out on features. With double-butted, top and down tubes and internal gusseting there's all the support you need for a strong front end. At the other end it has hollow 8mm wide dropouts which Sunday say are as light as a 5mm dropout, but twice as strong. The discovery is now available in matte raw and bright red, looking at the specs this would be a solid choice as an all around frame!

Nightshift Frame

The Nighshift is quite similar to Sunday's top of line frame, the Soundwave, but features traditional round tubing instead of waved tubing. It comes with Sunday's 41 Thermal process which is backed by a lifetime guarantee against bending, cracking, and breaking. The nightshift is a little more street oriented and is the personal choice of Sunday PRO, Erik Elstran. It is now available in Classic White and Skyview.

Park Ranger Frame

The Park Ranger is designed specifically with technical park, transition and street riding in mind. It draws a lot of influence from the Street Sweeper frame but with a significantly shorter standover height. It was requested by Sunday's flow and AM team. The Park Ranger is now available in Black and Turquoise.
