When we showed up at this spot and we saw this set I think we all knew Lacey would send himself down it. I feel super privileged to have been there to witness a lot of Dan's massive 360's and this had to be the biggest. This was the first clip Dan filmed for his Above part and it ended up being his banger... funny how it works out.

You see these Taxi's everywhere in Cape Town; they beep, shout out the windows, play music as loud as possible and usually have some modifications to attract more customers. Why can't we have cabs like this? Benny?

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever felt so lucky and privileged to be offered to go on a trip... It's cliche to say but I never thought BMX would take me to somewhere like South Africa. That plane ride was horrible; whoever I was sitting next to must have hated me acting like a kid on Christmas with my face up against the window the whole time. This was the first trip we took to film for Above Below and despite the intense heat the crew managed to film some crazy stuff. In fact, Lacey's first clip he filmed for his Above section in Cape Town turned out to be his ender for the whole video. Here's some of my favourite photos from our time there, enjoy. Thanks again to the whole Above Below crew for an unforgettable ten days.
