Wesley McGrath - Unseen Works

June 29th, 2014. Nate Richter and I have been friends ever since I ran a threaded headset, and to this day he is still my favorite person to shoot with. This specific image was shot in Denver, Colorado, a huge and scary smith grind just before being kicked off the bridge which was under construction, then on our way to Yard House for happy hour down the street!

July 7th, 2013. This Image has a long back story, Morgan Long is a spot master and always finds original spots to claim as his own. Morgan and I went to this spot I believe 3 separate times to shoot this image. The first time there were cars in the way, and the second time we got it, but for one reason or another we went back a third time and clocked it! Well he wasn't done there, on a fourth occasion Morgan and Chris Mortensen went back to shoot it long lens style for the cover of Danscomp Mail order magazine... Long story short mission accomplished on a few different angels!

November 14th, 2014. While spending my visit to Florida with the Sparky's crew we had a day of rainy street riding and in between drizzling rain Mark Burnett managed to get this line finished up, feeble to manual to bar spin, just before the rain washed out our session!

July 7th, 2013. While out in California for a couple years I was able to meet some great people, and I had no idea I would be spending a lot of that time with Joel Moody! Amongst his multi-talented schedule, Joel never seems to stray too far from riding his bike. Cruising down a random street in downtown LA, Joel executes this high speed double peg up the rail to party tooth for good measure!

April 28th, 2014. I tend to find myself in Austin Texas quite often, on this day I wound up at Redbox trails with a few familiar faces. Adam Hough was a new face to me and I was excited to be able to shoot this turndown with some of ATX's dirt shredders!

October 1st, 2014. When you come across a set up that you know won't last long you have to jump on it while it stands. I called Alex Gonzales and a few others to come ride this impermanent pile of cement in a random dirt lot. This downside whip was a gem from that session and the next day the pile was gone!

December 9th, 2014. While down in Arizona staying with the Gully crew I was able to see good ol' Joey Motta ride one evening. Gap from the road over the guard rail into a very steep bank, soon after this was shit Joey hooked me up with a jar of Raw organic honey and a container of his signature Rawr! Superfoods supplements! Cheers Joey!

August 24th, 2013. Mario Carrasco is a native New Mexican just like me, so when we go out to find new stuff to ride, it's more of an adjustment to the same old spots. This 180 wall ride over the rail was an awesome discovery, almost to dark to actually ride, Mario went at it anyway!

April 24th, 2015. This image sums up the fun that Rob Diquattro has on a consistent basis. There isn't a time when I'm riding with Rob that he isn't having a blast and making everyone else laugh around him! At a very special spot out in New Mexico somewhere Rob puts his name on this ledge with a well executed rocket icepick!

March 12th, 2012. Brad Simms came to Albuquerque, New Mexico on a whim just to ride bikes and make friends, well when you meet Brad you learn quickly that he adapts rather quickly... This was my first chance to ride and shoot with Brad, after this photo was shot, we have connected a few different times around the country... Double peg from the steps to hard 270 over the rail, just missing his head!

October 11th, 2014. Just a few days before leaving for Texas Toast Jam I met up with the Santa Fe shredders down in Albuquerque and Andres Velasco fired out this very curvy icepick like it was nothing!

June 1st, 2013. Glen Girbovan proved to be one hell of a motivated rider. Every time I see him on his bike he's doing better than he did before, this famous Downtown LA spot is a quick bust so pulling out my flashes wasn't the best move but at the end of the day it was well worth it! Stomped downside whip at Staples Center while the lakers warmed up inside!

December 10th, 2014. In downtown Phoenix this split tree has pretty much been destroyed beyond the point of finding anything new to do through it, Well Tony Malouf took a different approach to a simple trick. I guess you can call this a T-bird sole grab!?

December 20th, 2013. Alex Gonzales led us to this rooftop spot in search of a classy cityscape of Albuquerque. While light was running out on the photo and the roof, Alex and I got this shot just in time to make us both very happy about the outcome!

June 26th, 2014. Tammy McCarley is always having a good time, especially on his bike surrounded by his friends. On this specific summer day in Denver Colorado, Tammy took advantage of the intoxicated jeep owner and took one half crank and dropped off the roof onto a DIY flat rail which I myself wouldn't have trusted at all! But hey that's Tammy!

December 10th, 2014. This building is usually boarded up and condemned, well thankfully for us on this day, the door was broken off its hinges and Tony and I took advantage of some rare terrain. Hop whip out of the building into the blinding winter sunshine of Downtown Phoenix Arizona! Then I jumped back in the rental and drove 7 hours back home!

November 23rd, 2013. Trey Jones rode this pool like a crazy person! While filming for his part in the Danscomp DVD RollCall with Stew Johnson I wanted to get this intricate tire tap to look like it should. Shifting through spider webs and old murky water that would be tragic to drop anything into I managed to accomplish what was in my minds eye!

January 16th, 2014. The Shadow team takes the day off with an adventure into the mountains of southern Arizona to shoot guns, photos and the shit around a nice bonfire to close out the night... Trey Jones chugs his 2 liter of, you guessed it, Dr. Pepper!
