The 2016 Battle of Hastings was fought on the weekend of the 12 September between teams led by some gung-ho Americans, occasionally ill-equipped British men and some feisty Europeans. It took place underneath the pier in the infamous coastal town of Hastings UK, close to an ancient battleground where the historic Backyard Jams were fought and won by many in years gone by. Victory was a decisive for ’Team Larry Edgar’ victory who smashed it in a weekend that was a bloody violent explosion and thee very best of BMX.
