The Street Series partnered up with Dakota Roche (Cult / Vans / Dans / Cinema) in Los Angeles, California to bring you another hefty slice of BMXDAY and DIG was there to cover all of the day's goodness. We started the cruise at Hollenbeck skate plaza and raised hell from spot to spot all the way into downtown where we ended the session at the famous LAPD station handrail. All day long there were plumes of smoke covering the greater LA area, caused by a structure fire raging in Downtown which made for an unforgettable bike ride!
We all ended the day by gathering around the corner from Thee Block in West Hollywood to eat, drink and ride in a private parking lot. Followed up with a video premiere of The Common Crew's brand new DVD, Monster Mash and the infamous 'BMX' movie 'RAD'. There was even an appearance from RAD's Bill Allen, aka the (faux) legendary 'Cru Jones'.
Hundreds of riders came out to support the cause and have a great time. Thee Block personel were on hand to map the spots and keep the crew moving safely through the busy streets of LA. Enjoy all the antics in this blend of photos from Wes McGrath, Chris Mortensen and Justin Butts.
Congrats to FIT Bike Co's Ethan Corriere for taking home The Street Series ring in Los Angeles and thanks to everyone who came out to support and enjoy the day, wherever you where in the world.
