The Simon Tabron Podcast
DIG X SNAKEBITE
24 Apr 2018
Interview by Shad Johnson
We've been following this guy since the very early days of DIG after watching him kill it at the very first Backyard Jam in Hastings back in 1991, a couple of years before we even had our magazine up and running. The UK's vert supremo Simon Tabron might not seem like the typical type of rider that we'd cover nowadays, but this fascinating conversation, focusing in parts on the purity of bike riding, might give you some insight as to why we've always been fans.
"It was so much fun doing this podcast with the legendary Simon Tabron. I was excited to talk with him about the amazing vert scene the UK had in the 80's and 90's, as well as vert rivalries, 900's, what type of riding he likes to see and so much more. We even went off the rails and talked about how a bike really feels, breaking down how Simon looks at his bike now compared to 20 or 30 years ago. This is a good one!" - Shad Johnson
